Villanova senior first baseman Ryan Toohers batted .769 on 10 hits in 13 at-bats as the Wildcats swept local-rival St. Joseph’s in a three-game series last weekend. Toohers had three or more hits in each game of the series, going 4-for-5 in the series opener. He drove in the game-winning run with a seventh-inning single for an 8-7 final score. In the second game he had three hits an drove in three runs as VU took the win, 16-5.
