Creighton senior Marcus Foster and Xavier freshman Naji Marshall are the recipients of this week’s Big East awards, the conference announced Monday.
Foster excelled in Creighton’s two wins, averaging 28.0 points and 7.0 rebounds. He has three straight 20+ point performances and is the first Bluejay to do that since Doug McDermott. He’s up to third in the Big East in points per game at 19.9.
Marshall continues to stand out for Xavier. He had 10 points and four rebounds in Xavier’s lone game of the week, an 89-70 victory over Marquette.
