NEW YORK – On Saturday, March 16, the BIG EAST Conference will host the inaugural BIG EAST Startup Challenge, a competition featuring innovations and products from teams of student entrepreneurs representing all 10 schools. The competition is an important component of the BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Tournament Week activities in New York City, March 13-16.
The event will be held at St. John’s University’s Manhattan Campus on Astor Place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“The Startup Challenge reinforces one of the strategic imperatives of the Conference, which is to enhance academic collaborations across the BIG EAST membership,” remarked BIG EAST Deputy Athletic Director, Vince Nicastro.
