BIG EAST Notables:
- BIG EAST play starts Saturday for men’s soccer as the league still boasts the No. 1 team in the country with Georgetown. The BIG EAST went 37-16-5 against their non-conference foes. Non-conference play will continue through the season in midweek and weekend games through Wednesday, Oct. 27.
- Along with the top-ranked Hoyas, Seton Hall moved up to No. 19 from No. 22 this week in the United Soccer Coaches poll. Providence started receiving votes. Marquette fell out of the poll with three consecutive losses.
- Against top 25 opponents, BIG EAST teams are 4-5-1, 3-0-0 on their home pitches.
