Samson Sergi’s goal in the fifth minute was all the Musketeers needed to pick up their second BIG EAST win of the season. Xavier outshot Villanova 13-8 on Saturday and kept all eight of the Wildcats’ strikes off target as Colin Hanley picked up the shutout win without making a save. Carson Williams had three saves for Villanova. Cameron Belle was credited with the assist on Sergi’s goal which was clocked at the 4:43 mark in the opening half.
