#BEfútbol Minute – Hoyas’ Win Results In First Round Bye, St. John’s Clinches Playoff Berth

NEW YORK – Three of the five games this weekend went to extra time as the 2019 BIG EAST men’s soccer regular season wanes with two matches left to play. Georgetown remains at the top of the standings with a 3-0 win over Marquette on Saturday afternoon. No. 7 Georgetown has won six games in a row, and has not lost a game since Sept. 24. The win over Marquette was the Hoyas’ seventh-straight shutout. The win gave Georgetown a bye to the BIG EAST Championship semifinal where Shaw Field will be one of the host sites.
