In Wednesday’s semifinal matches, GU defeated No. 3 seed Providence, 4-0, while the Golden Eagles bounced top-seeded Creighton in penalty kicks, 10-9, after finishing tied 1-1 through two overtimes Georgetown is making its second consecutive BIG EAST title game appearance and seventh showing overall, while MU is in the final for the second time and first since 2013.
