The Providence Friars were dealt a serious blow on Tuesday. Freshman star A.J. Reeves is going to be out for the next 4-6 weeks after suffering a foot injury. The program announced Reeves’ injury in a release issued out on Tuesday afternoon.
Reeves has been one of the most productive freshmen in the conference and one of the most productive players on the Friars in general. The Roxbury, Massachusetts native has averaged 14.2 points per game this season, second-best on the team and first among all freshmen in the conference.
Without his presence in the lineup, the Friars will have to look elsewhere for scoring.
