Some high school freshmen haven’t even gotten their braces off yet, but 2022 guard Tyrell Ward is already fielding Division I offers.
Ward is on the brink of completing his freshman year at DeMatha Catholic (Md.), but before school is out, he’s already landed on the radars of D-1 teams, with the Providence Friars becoming the latest to offer him.
This past season, at DeMatha Catholic (Md.), Ward mainly sat behind some of the more experienced players on the team. He was part of a select few to be called up to the varsity team as a freshman.
