2019 top-10 guard Scottie Lewis cuts list to seven, includes Villanova and St. John’s

As the calendar turns to summer and the AAU circuit heats up, 2019 recruiting is bound to get a jump start, as well.

On Thursday night, 2019 ESPN top-10 guard Scottie Lewis tweeted out his top seven, trimming his list from the 12 schools he named in September and dropping Colgate, Seton Hall, North Carolina, Maryland, and Kansas.

Lewis is currently enrolled at New Jersey’s Ranney School and is the second-ranked player in the state on EPSN and third-ranked on 247Sports, but is in the top 10 nationally on both sites.

Both Villanova and St. John’s offered Lewis in early 2016, something that has stood out to the guard.
