The Providence Friars have gathered plenty of momentum on the recruiting trail over the last year or so. It doesn’t seem like that train is coming to a complete stop anytime soon. The Friars made a splash in the 2019 recruiting cycle on Friday, as head coach Ed Cooley and all of Friartown learned they got a commit from one of the top players in the class.
That player would be Greg Gantt Jr. A native of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Gantt Jr. announced his commitment to Providence College on his Twitter account.
Plenty of schools in the southeastern United States were pursuing Gantt Jr.
