On a day where Providence celebrated a commit for 2018, Butler loses out on one as Jordan Lathon has committed to Northwestern.
The 6-foot-4, 190-pound four-star point guard out of Grandview, Missouri committed to the Wildcats via his personal Twitter account on Sunday afternoon.
The Bulldogs were in pursuit of Lathon, who had BU in his Top 5 along with Northwestern, Illinois, Iowa State and Wake Forest. Lathon is listed fourth among all prospects out of Missouri in the class of 2018, trailing Saint Louis commit Carte’Are Gordon, Louisville commit Courtney Ramey and undecided four-star Torrence Watson.
