It really was one of the best title games the Big East Tournament has seen, but Villanova defended it’s title and won its third Big East title in the last four years by the final of 76-66 over Providence.

Don’t let the score fool you, this was an epic finale to another great Big East Tournament.

Jalen Brunson stepped up to the free throw line for two crucial free throws. He had missed the front end of a one-and-one about a minute-and-a-half earlier in the game, but with the clock winding down there was very little room for error.
