2017 NBA Draft: Jimmy Butler traded to Minnesota Timberwolves for Kris Dunn, Zach LaVine, #7 pick

It finally happened.

Dating back to last year’s NBA Draft, there have been rumors that former Marquette Golden Eagle Jimmy Butler would be on the move from the Chicago Bulls. During Thursday night’s NBA Draft, the rumors came true.

According to the Chicago Tribune’s KC Johnson, Butler is heading from Chicago to Minnesota for Kris Dunn, Zach LaVine, and the #7 pick in the Draft. Dunn, you may remember is a former two-time Big East Player of the Year with the Providence Friars.

The Bulls have agreed in principle to deal Jimmy Butler to the Timberwolves, per source.
