Just hours after it was reported that 2017 Butler Bulldogs Jerald Gillens-Butler would be remaining with the program despite Chris Holtmann’s departure, Cooper Neese reaffirmed his commitment, as well.
Neese, one of the most prolific scorers in Indiana high school basketball history, looks to play a very significant role for Butler in his freshman season.
With Neese and Gillens-Butler reaffirmed, the Bulldogs are still waiting to hear from Aaron Thompson, Kyle Young, and Christian David. Per NCAA rules, they have to meet with the eventual new head coach before being let out of their letters of intent, should that be the route they choose.
