Ed Cooley’s recruiting track record at Providence has been an interesting one, to say the least. While making splashes with players like Kris Dunn and Brandon Austin, he’s also been criticized for honing in on prospects who seem to be out of reach. This past Monday, Cooley received some good news regarding the class of 2017.
The coveted four-star recruit will take his official visit to Providence on September 9-11, which will be his second out of four official fall trips.
According to Scout, Watson is the 58th ranked prospect in the class of 2017 while also being touted as the 13th best player at his position.
