The Providence Friars trail the No. 1 seeded North Carolina Tar Heels in Raleigh 34-30 after the first half.
Kris Dunn scored 10 points in the first half despite heading to the bench with two fouls late in the period. Dunn was 4-for-5 from the field and looked the part in this encounter thus far. Staying out of foul trouble with have to be a top priority for the Big East Player of the Year. Ben Bentil is 3-for-11 from the field but has nine points and two rebounds.
