Wide receiver
After the early departure of Shelton Gibson, West Virginia enters 2017 without its two most productive receivers from last season. Senior Daikiel Shorts led the Mountaineers with 63 catches, and his 894 yards trailed only Gibson’s 951. They teamed also for 13 of West Virginia’s 26 touchdown catches.
