Colorado head coach Deion Sanders said he feels "much better" about his team this offseason following their 0-6 finish to the 2023 campaign.
"I feel much better about the team now, because of the young energy accumulated inside this locker room, but also the staff, and how they're working together," Sanders told reporters Friday, per Fox31 Denver KDVR's Taylor Kilgore.
"The coordinators are phenomenal. The support staff is second to none. I feel, I think, we all really have a cohesive bond that's truly admirable."
The Buffaloes, which hired Sanders following the team's 1-11 finish to the 2022 season, got off to an encouraging 4-2 start to the new head coach's first campaign in Boulder.
