Take 1: Brandon Chatmon -- Baylor NB Travon Blanchard
Blanchard is one of the best returning defenders in the Big 12.
He should play a major role in Baylor’s defense in the fall after a breakout sophomore season that included 83 tackles (65 solo), 7.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, two interceptions and one blocked punt.
The Bears defense must rebuild after losing several standouts and Big 12 co-defensive player of the year Andrew Billings but Blanchard should be ready for a starring role in the defense.
