West Virginia must replace 213 games spread between five different linebackers off the Mountaineers’ 2015 defense.
Shaq Petteway, Isaiah Bruce, Jared Barber, Edward Muldrow Sr. and Nick Kwiatkoski combined to start 101 of those 213 career games before exhausting their eligibility during the Motel 6 bowl win over Arizona State. Safe to say, West Virginia has the linebacker spot circled as a key position to address during the spring.
“We are going to have some young guys come in and be able to contribute,” coach Dana Holgorsen said.
