STILLWATER – It was a return Wednesday to pads and putting in some hitting as the Oklahoma State Cowboys practiced twice on Wednesday. The morning practice was about a two-hour session with work on special teams and work on the base offense and defense and some of the situations that will be tested on Thursday in the first major scrimmage of the camp for the Cowboys.
"I felt like it was great," Cowboys backs coach Jason McEndoo said. "Having the temperatures be a little cooler and having a couple of days off really helped the guys come out and have a lot of energy.
