Oklahoma State aims to fix its offensive line with strong recruiting class

Even in the midst of a 10-game winning streak to start the season, Mike Gundy knew Oklahoma State was punching above its weight.

An inability to run the ball was going to handcuff any Big 12 title hopes at some point, and those struggles eventually came to the forefront in losses to Baylor, Ole Miss and Oklahoma. Oklahoma State averaged 67.7 rushing yards, 2.48 rushing yards per carry and 1.12 rushing yards before contact per carry in those three losses to end the season.

Thus, it’s easy to see why offensive line was the priority for Gundy’s recruiting class in 2016.
