Must-win game: Sept. 16 vs. Arizona State
It might seem weird to have a must-win game so early in the season, especially against a nonconference opponent. But after a disappointing 2016 campaign, it feels like Tech is going to need a big win early to restore confidence, energize the fan base and give the program a little momentum for Big 12 play.
