Matt Freeman, a native of New Zealand, verbally committed to Oklahoma on Thursday, he told Scout. "The coaches are great and I just see myself fitting in there better than anywhere else," Freeman told Scout. "I see it as the best opportunity for me as an individual to develop into the best player I can be. It's a great place too and the campus is beautiful." Freeman is Oklahoma's third verbal commitment of the 2016 class. Freeman joins highly touted scoring guard Kameron McGusty and Khristian Doolittle to make up their recruiting class.
