Kansas State's uncharacteristic postgame celebration was well-earned

It sure didn’t look like something to be expected from a Bill Snyder team.

After all, the Wildcats have been to the mountain top before as Big 12 co-champions in 2012.

So the celebration of a 6-6 regular season record seemed out of place.

Yet, it was well-earned. So much so, Snyder was willing to overlook his normal inclination to tell his team to act like they’ve been there before.

“I am pleased that it was that way,” Snyder said of the postgame locker room after his Wildcats earned bowl eligibility with a 24-23 win over West Virginia on Saturday.
