Kansas State still has a passion to finish this season strong despite a disappointing 0-4 start to conference play, writes Kellis Robinett of the Kansas City Star.
“Nobody is down,” linebacker Elijah Lee told Robinett. “The spirit has actually gotten better since the start of the season. Everyone is on top of each other saying, ‘Hey, the season isn’t over. We still have games to play and the chance to get some wins.’"
The Wildcats still have a bowl appearance within reach. To reach six wins, Kansas State needs to win three games during a five-game stretch of Baylor, Texas Tech, Iowa State, Kansas and West Virginia, which is doable, based on the Wildcats' performances against TCU and Oklahoma State.
