ATLANTA – TCU star receiver Josh Doctson said he might know next week whether he’ll be able to play against No. 15 Oregon in the Jan. 2 Valero Alamo Bowl.
Doctson, a senior from Mansfield, Texas, missed the No. 11 Horned Frogs’ last two games after undergoing surgery on his left wrist last month after injuring it in TCU’s 49-29 loss at Oklahoma State on Nov. 7.
Doctson, a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award as the country’s top receiver, is scheduled to have the cast removed from his left hand by a specialist on Dec.
