Jonathan Banks leaves K-State looking for more of an opportunity

Junior college transfer quarterback Jonathan Banks has announced his plan to leave Kansas State after one season. Timothy Everson of the K-State Collegian caught up with Banks' father, Sean, who explained the reasoning behind the decision while thanking K-State for the experience.

"We wanted more of an opportunity to get out there and showcase his talent," Sean Banks told Everson. "We felt it was best to go someplace that is actually in need of a real dual-threat quarterback."

This is an odd one.

If anyone looked like they could use someone to bring stability to the quarterback position in 2015 it was K-State.
