Jean Delance drew national headlines when he decommitted from Oklahoma following the racist actions of the university's Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Given months to clear his head and assess his options, Delance has found a new home at the University of Texas.
Delance gave the Longhorns his verbal commitment during Saturday's Under Armour All-American Game, per Tom VanHaaren of ESPN.
An early commit to Oklahoma, Delance took his time making his second decision, narrowing his list to nine schools (Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Texas A&M, USC and Texas) and giving each a chance to woo him.
