Kansas State is in dire need of a win, and quarterback Joe Hubener could be the key. The sophomore had some opportunities to make plays early in the Wildcats' 55-0 loss to Oklahoma, but missed the throw.
Thus, the Wildcats starter is working to improve his accuracy, writes Kellis Robinett of the Wichita Eagle.
"I just really need to focus on that," Hubener told Robinett.
Hubener has completed just 45.5 percent of his passes this season and, according to ESPN Stats & Information, 21.8 percent of his throws have been off target (overthrown or underthrown).
