The University of Texas announced Tuesday that the Longhorns’ mascot would be retiring after being diagnosed with Bovine Leukemia Virus.
The 2,100 pound steer has been on the job since 2004. In that time, he’s been around for 107 wins, four BCS bowls and a national championship.
