The Red Raiders held off a late Wildcats rally to become bowl eligible with a 59-44 win over Kansas State at Jones AT&T Stadium. Here’s how it happened:

How the game was won: The Wildcats really didn’t have answers for Texas Tech’s quarterback-running back duo of Patrick Mahomes and DeAndre Washington. The pair accounted for seven combined touchdowns as they kept K-State honest with big plays on the ground and through the air. Washington had 27 carries for 248 yards and three touchdowns while Mahomes added 384 passing yards and four total touchdowns (three passing, one rushing).
