The 2017 Big 12 men's basketball tournament kicked off Wednesday night inside the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
The Kansas Jayhawks enter as the defending champions, and they claimed the outright regular-season conference title after posting a 16-2 mark in the Big 12.
The opening day of Big 12 tournament action features two games. The Oklahoma Sooners face off with the TCU Horned Frogs, while the Texas Longhorns closed out the night with the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
