Olson: I genuinely do not know why West Virginia CB Rasul Douglas didn’t get more love during this awards season. Douglas had my vote for Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year. He was the MVP of the best defense in the conference and was arguably the most productive cornerback in all of college football. Adoree’ Jackson winning the Thorpe Award was no surprise since he’s also an unbelievable kick and punt returner.
