Baylor University has reached a settlement with the victim who was sexually assaulted by former Bears defensive end Sam Ukwuachu.
"All I can say is that the matter has been satisfactorily resolved," said John Clune, the attorney who was representing the victim, per Barry Horn of the Dallas Morning News on Thursday.
On Aug. 20, Jessica Luther and Dan Solomon wrote an in-depth report for Texas Monthly that covered not only Ukwuachu's assault, which took place in October 2013, but Baylor's internal investigation of the incident as well. Major questions were asked about how thorough the school was while examining the victim's allegations.
