After graduating several key starters from last year's nine-win team, including quarterback Jake Waters and 1,000-yard receivers Tyler Lockett and Curry Sexton, K-State anticipated growing pains in 2015.
Those pains turned agonizing, though, following a series of injuries, a couple of close calls against ranked opponents and a six-game losing streak in the conference. Bill Snyder's bunch, however, rallied to finish 6-6 to become bowl eligible, capped by a pair of dramatic comeback wins late in the year.
