2015 season review: Baylor's Big 12 title, playoff hopes doomed by injuries

Art Briles believed he'd assembled his best Baylor team yet in 2015. Had Baylor not lost three quarterbacks to injuries in the second half of the season, he might've been proven correct. But losing that trio, plus several more starters over a brutal November stretch run, derailed the Bears' hopes of a third consecutive Big 12 title and a spot in the College Football Playoff.

Baylor spent four weeks in the top 10 of the playoff rankings, getting as close as No. 6, and looked at times like one of the nation's most dominant teams on their way to an 8-0 start.
