After Baylor quarterback Seth Russell left his team’s game against Iowa State in the fourth quarter, Baylor nation was holding its collective breathe hoping that their signal-caller, one of the FBS leaders in touchdown passes, was taken out for precautionary reasons.

Unfortunately, Russell fractured a bone in his neck, ending the junior quarterback’s season.

Reported by the Smoking Musket, West Virginia quarterback Skyler Howard decided to stop by and give Russell a visit in the hospital early Wednesday morning.

Russell and Howard squared off earlier this season, and the Bears took down the Mountaineers, 62-38.
