Baylor wide receiver K.D. Cannon told reporters at Baylor's pro day that he went against the advice of the NFL draft committee when he decided to declare early for the draft.
Cannon declared for the draft shortly after his MVP performance in Baylor's Cactus Bowl win over Boise State despite the committee suggesting that he stay in school for his senior year. But Cannon says he had made his mind up before the Cactus Bowl.
"They told me to stay in school but it's really just what I wanted to do," Cannon said.
Cannon finished his Baylor career with 195 receptions for 3,113 yards and 27 touchdowns.
