When the WNBA finals between the Los Angeles Sparks and Minnesota Lynx tips off on Sunday afternoon, it will present a conflict to Irving MacArthur girls basketball coach Suzie Oelschlegel.
But really, it's a good problem to have: Two of her former players will be suiting up against each other at the pinnacle of professional women's basketball.
Los Angeles' Odyssey Sims and Minnesota's Alexis Jones are the first two MacArthur graduates to reach the WNBA finals. Both played under Oelschlegel before heading to Baylor and eventually the WNBA.
"It's like a dream come true," Oelschlegel said.
