It was just a decade ago that the Texas Longhorns were the kings of college football, winning the 2005 National Championship in one of the most epic games in the history of the sport. Since then, the Longhorns have had moments of success, but have taken a noticeable turn downward, becoming a middle of the road team in the Big XII Conference.
Fans of other teams in the league and the state are enjoying every moment of it. One Baylor Bears fan made this troll video, comparing what has happened to the Longhorns with one of the worst diasters on the high seas, incorporating Texas football’s failures with the movie Titanic:
Baylor football doesn’t have a great recent history (just seven winning seasons since 1993 with five of those coming the last five seasons), so for their fan base to be so bold as to take on the Longhorns with that track record means things have truly gotten bad in Austin.
