Three Baylor basketball players were given all Big 12 honors on Sunday. Manu Lecomte and Jo Lual-Acuil Jr. were named to the All Big 12 team, and Terry Maston was named the Big 12 sixth man of the year.
Maston is the fourth Bears player to win the sixth man of the year award, all within the last ten years. Maston joins LaceDarius Dunn (2009), Quincy Acy (2011) and Taurean Prince (2015) as the only players to win the award. Maston averaged 10.8 points and 5.6 rebounds in 22 minutes per game. Maston scored 20 points or more five times in Big 12 play, with the Bears going 4-1 in those games.
