Through two weeks of the season, senior Jalan McClendon and sophomore Charlie Brewer have been locked in a seesaw battle for Baylor's starting quarterback spot.
In a Week 1 win over Abilene Christian, McClendon took the first punch, completing 10-of-13 passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns. Brewer completed 8-of-15 passes for 138 yards and had one interception.
Brewer retaliated in Week 2 by completing 23-of-34 passes for 328 yards and three touchdowns in a 37-20 win against UTSA.
But during the Big 12's weekly teleconference on Monday, Rhule confirmed that he will continue to play both quarterbacks heading into a Week 3 matchup against Duke.
