If there’s one shot Oklahoma gets to prove its worth this season, it will come Saturday against Baylor.
Recent history has proved otherwise, but the Sooners are every bit a contender as the Bears are in the Big 12 this season. Both schools rank among the Top 25 on the initial College Football Playoff ranking and, alongside Oklahoma State, sit atop the Big 12. Baylor pummeled OU in 2013 and 2014’s installment of the annual game, but there is potential for a power shift Saturday.
At 8-0 Baylor ranks sixth on the CFP ranking and returns home for what will be the school’s most formidable challenge yet.
