PHOENIX -- As Temple's football coach, Matt Rhule would take three steps outside his house and see a Philadelphia city bus zoom past on Lombard Street.
Now as the new coach at Baylor, a roadrunner crosses Rhule's yard in Woodway pretty much every day. After dealing with a concrete backyard in Philly, his young daughter Leona is exploring the wonders of grass.
"That's been the biggest difference," Rhule said Saturday as Big 12 meetings ended, "but it's been a wonderful difference."
Culture shock notwithstanding, Rhule faces a professional challenge making a difference at Baylor after the sexual assault scandal that brought down Art Briles and Ken Starr.
