Head coach Matt Rhule has received plenty of praise for his work in improving a one-win Baylor team to a 7-6 record and a Texas Bowl win over Vanderbilt in 2018.
So much so that he may be garnering interest from at least one NFL team.
ESPN's Dan Graziano reports that the New York Jets, who fired head coach Todd Bowles less than a week ago, have expressed interest in Rhule as his possible replacement.
Source says the Jets have expressed interest in Baylor coach Matt Rhule for their head coaching position. It’s unclear when or if an interview has been scheduled, but the Jets are scheduled to be in Texas this weekend for a Sunday interview with Cowboys assistant Kris Richard.
