Former Cedar Hill head coach and new Baylor assistant Joey McGuire is actively recruiting some of his old players, according to a report from 247sports.com's Ryan Bartow.
McGuire has reached out to current Texas A&M commit Camron Buckley, Notre Dame commit Avery Davis and Oklahoma commit Charleston Rambo. Davis was Cedar Hill's starting quarterback this past season and Rambo and Buckley were both standout receivers.
Both Buckley and Davis reaffirmed their commitments to their respective programs and said they would not visit Baylor, but both told 247sports.com that they believe McGuire will be a successful college recruiter.
