Former Baylor quarterback Shawn Bell will be joining new head coach Matt Rhule's staff in Waco, according to a report from SicEm365.com.
Bell, whose position at Baylor is still unclear, has been a high school coach for the last seven years. Most recently he was the head coach at Cedar Ridge, which he led to a 11-1 record and a district championship. He's also coached at Magnolia West, Clifton, China Spring and Stony Point.
Bell played for Baylor from 2002-2006. He is fifth in Baylor history in both career passing yards (5,666) and passing touchdowns (38).
