Florida has joined Texas A&M and Auburn in the race for the services of Baylor quarterback transfer Jarrett Stidham, according to a report from 247sports.com.
Florida wants to give the former five-star recruit an in-home visit and host him on an official visit in Gainesville before he makes his decision.
Stidham started the back-end of the 2015 season for Baylor after Seth Russell suffered a season-ending neck injury. But Stidham left Baylor over the summer because he did not want to risk spending another season behind Russell as a backup. He enrolled at McLennan Community College to save a year of eligibility as he sat out the season due to NCAA transfer rules.
